Well, well, well if it isn’t Mr BREON S.Y.N.D.E.L?! There’s always something really exciting about this Brooklyn-based artists’ releases – you never know what to expect! Having featured many of his ever-growing catalogue I always seem to want to hear more with every release!

So, what’s new? ‘Big Monster’ was released on 25th November, the song is a mixture of Hyperpop, emo-rap, and trap rap which is always something that I lean towards when searching for new music.

The song is a rage record, aiming to break through what the artist describes as the “love matrix”. If you’re like me, then this will certainly intrigue you into listening!

Immediate synth energy from the get-go! A distorted highly energetic loop takes to the front of the track before trap percussion loops scatter endlessly throughout the production. The second BREON S.Y.N.D.E.L begins to enter the track listeners are taken aback by the intensity of the autotune. Think FUTURE, Juice Wrld, Lil Wayne with a hyperpop twist. Yep, this is a big one! Catchy as they come and seriously energetic.

Another banging release from the Brooklyn rapper. Definitely one for the playlists if autotuned U.S rap hits a spot. - TAMARA JENNA
