HEAVEN CAN WAIT

REVIEW

The Parlophonics sent us the title track 'Heaven Can Wait' from their debut album. The track has a great opening that entices listeners into the track with instant guitar solos and a steady drum beat. The vocals are soulful and dreamy. This is an indie rock piece that doesn't overbear the listener with heaviness, instead, it's soft and beautiful whilst maintaining within the rock realm. The harmonies are mixed to perfect along with the instrumentation. The lyrics are catchy and the song is something that I would definitely listen to again. 'Heaven Can Wait' is the perfect track to open an album and I'm really looking forward to hearing the full project. 10/10. Robert Horvath - Founding Member

What would be your ultimate achievement for your latest single? Is there a particular vision that you had when putting the song together?

Having Denny Seiwell drumming on our single has been the greatest achievement we

have never dreamt of.

If you could define music in one short sentence (no cheating) what would you say?

The best waste of time after love and friendship.

Haha, I've never heard that one before! One artist you would bring back to life?

There are so many - but I believe John Lennon. There are so many songs never written

due to his early and sudden death.

When did you first realise that you had the potential to be an artist? Is there a memory that has stuck in your mind as the turning point for you?

No, I still do not consider myself as an artist. I am only a storyteller with a guitar.

Do you play any instruments? If not, is there a specific one that you'd like to learn?

I play several instruments on our songs. Mainly acoustic guitars and bass. Play a real sitar

would be something

How would you define your sound?

Our sound is based on classic rock which has arrived in the 2020s. Pure and probably old

fashioned, but that is al right.

How do you collaborate with vocalists and other artists?

We have never met as a band or individuals. I know Hugh and Fernando only by chatting

and face time. We exchange our ideas over the internet and build our songs step by step.

If you had the opportunity to work with one of your favorite musical artists, who would you most like to collaborate with and why?

Right now it would be Paul Weller - an awesome and versatile songwriter. I am curios how

a colab would sound.

What are your future plans? What can we look forward to for the rest of 2022?

Heaven Can Wait is the first single from our upcoming 2nd album. We are still working but

are very close to the final results.

Where would you like to be 5 years from now?

Alive and kicking, just 5 years older.
