What Can I Say

The Official 4PM impressed me with their last release 'Some of the Time', in fact, it is still on my personal playlist. Now back with their latest release 'What Can I Say' the group have brought another belter of a song with a video to match.
'What Can I Say' has that classic smooth 'The Official 4pm' basis which sits on a Reggae influence. The lyrics talks of a man who throws his relationship into uncertainty. A story with a hint of forgiveness and lessons learned.
The harmonies are tight, and the instrumentation is stripped back. The Offical 4PM enter 2023 with a new air of influence within their sound and I hope to hear more music from them throughout the remainder of this year.
The video, is basic, yet effective in its chain of events. The visual representation enhances the story of the song. Definitely worth having a little look!
