The Last Sunset

‘The Spiritual Leaders’ hailing from Cavan, Ireland released their latest release ‘The Last Sunset’ last week. The trio bring some serious electricity to the front of their sound with their new-wave influence. The standard instrumentation for an indie rock band is present within the piece – Electric guitar, bass and drums but there’s a new programming element found within the latest sounds of the band. Synthesizers, xylophone and pizzicato strings encompass a whole new bandwidth of influences to play with here. The vocals are long and dark – delving into a more mature sound.
The lyrics reflect on late-night wanders of the mind, something that fits the feel of the overall production to a T. ‘The Last Sunset’ offers both the darkness and the light in a relaxing state of bliss and ponder. A stable release with a captivating message.
Make sure that you keep an eye out for the upcoming third album from the trio, I believe it’s set for release on 24th March!
