Juliander is a Swedish artist, songwriter, and producer. His latest release entitled 'Cold Shoulder' is Juliander’s third release of 2022 and something tells me that it isn't going to be his last either!


Juliander's music is full of emotional vocals, personal lyrics that tell a story, and stunning melodies. Juliander writes and produces and mixes his own songs to create his very own unique sound - all things that many artists struggle to do in combination.


'Cold Shoulder' packs strong lyrics and a melancholic melody that makes you get up and move. It's a track that is perfect for car cruising and or for you to get up and down to on the dance floor.

What would be your ultimate achievement for your latest single? Is there a particular vision that you had when putting the song together?


I just want as many people as possible to hear it. This song it’s one of my favorites and I love how we created it so I am just so excited that it's out!

An ultimate achievement would be to perform it for a big crowd that sings along to the lyrics.


If you could define music in one short sentence (no cheating) what would you say?


Music is the language of the soul. 😊


When did you first realise that you had the potential to be an artist? Is there a memory that has stuck in your mind as the turning point for you?


It was a big moment for me when my first EP Afterglow got such a good reaction. It's crazy to think that these songs I made in my parent's house where I grew up has now been listened to by over 30+ million people!


How would you define your sound?


Vintage Synths and organic instruments combined with POP melody and nostalgic lyrics.


Cubase, Protools, or neither?


I use Logic Pro X.


This might be a tricky one but Studio vs Live - Which do you prefer and why?


I love the studio process and it’s really inspiring to take an idea and make it into reality but performing live will always be my favorite. It’s such a special experience to be able to stand infront of a crowd and do what you love. 😊


How do you collaborate with vocalists and other artists?


I’ve worked a lot by myself the last couple of years on my own projects. But I love collaborating with writers and producers. It’s always interesting to see what you can create together from so many different visions. It’s been interesting for me to participate in other projects as a writer, vocalist and producer.



If you had the opportunity to work with one of your favorite musical artists, who would you most like to collaborate with and why?


Tyler The Creator is one of my favorite artists. He inspired me a lot when it comes to producing and I think that we could create something amazing together. I admire the vision he has with everything he does. I just love his whole vibe and attitude and he’s a great performer. Saw him at Coachella 2018 when I performed with Alan Walker.


What are your future plans? What can we look forward to for the rest of 2022?


A lot of new music is coming in 2022. I’m so excited to finally show you what I’ve been working on.
