Alec Berlin has gifted us with a soothing blues single that harkens to Americana and country rock, ‘LaNoise.’ Guitar flurries and harmonies fill the track with tangible glee. It's a good time single, one that makes your heart sing to the melodies and changes that come and go as the beat kicks in and the sun begins to set. It's almost bluegrass but with a focus on that chipper, high-tone guitar that is played clean but creates so much texture in blue.

‘LaNoise’ reminded me of a feeling: reminiscing. It's a song that takes you back to good times, no matter how long ago or far away those times now seem. Alec Berlin has shifted the vocal, ditched it entirely in favour of an emotive play style that says just as much if not more than any lyricist can. The harmonies convey emotion in ways that soaring vocals simply fail to do. A musical example that sometimes a picture does, in fact, sing 1000 words.
