ARN-IDENTIFIED FLYING OBJECTS AND ALIEN FRIENDS

Some Angels Never Learn To Fly

Stockholm, Sweden

I can’t get enough of the sombre and riveting tones of Arn-Identified Flying Objects and Alien Friends. Their single, ‘Some Angels Never Learn to Fly,’ is a smashing blend of rock, folk, and country and it hits you hard in the gut with emotion and feeling. It's that warm vocal harmony that hits you. Mid, high and higher. It floats above the instrumentals shimmering in the daylight, swaying to the beat. It's so distant and yet it feels as if it's echoing inside your mind. It's smooth, it brings forth feelings of James Blunt in the early days but with more soul and more meaning. It's poetic and it's beautiful. Yet most of all, it's a great tune.

Rock can be turned up to 11, hey even 12. But sometimes you need to kick it back to 5 or 6 to really understand what rock is all about. It's not there for shouting. It's there to get you moving with real, honest emotions. ‘Some Angels Never Learn to Fly’ delivers, and it delivers in style.
