‘ABOUT ME’ is a single that rolls to a groove. It starts in the back, the bass riling up the instrumental. The percussion slots in, soft and full of swing. In the header, a high synth with acoustic flavours whittles away on a melody that then falls into the vocal's lap. They stand, clear and powerful, unbothered by the speed of the world they take the song at their own pace. The result is a sound that captures the soul in a vice grip and soothes it, the hold softens, and the power fades. Soon you are swaying in the moon pool with the beat.
BEUX LEVI is a powerhouse. The tonal expression on ‘ABOUT ME’ is something else, and it's definitely something you’ll want to get your ears around.
