Cry Baby Purple, what a name! This self-described “energetic funk rock band from Dublin, Ireland” have made it their mission to make sure that their listeners have a good time. So, are you ready? The project led by Irish musician Mikey Deasy, with help from musicians including D.Cullen, Sick Love and Sinead McConville.

The latest release from Cry Baby Purple entitled ‘Mr. Know It All’ is simply this – FUNK GALORE.

There are songs that hit you like a ton of bricks - this is one of them. It doesn’t hurt though, it frees the soul and makes it dance along with its groovy basslines and lead strums. The variation in these guitar compositions complements each other to lift listeners into the clouds and back down to the dancefloor for a dance. Yep. I’m in love. If I could marry a sound it would be this one.
