Recorded at the Ice Cream Factory Studio in Austin, "I Don’t Need You (Someday)" began as a simple guitar composition by Paula before evolving into a more fully realized track with Rebecca's lyrical contribution. The dark wave sound, reminiscent of acts like The Smiths and the alternative rock scene of the '80s, gives the single a nostalgic feel, while remaining fresh and contemporary.

Daph Veil is the latest chapter in Paula's musical evolution, collaborating with different musicians on each release to create something new and impactful. With its evocative storytelling and deep emotional resonance, "I Don’t Need You (Someday)" is a powerful debut that promises more exciting music to come.
