DEE & D’Z offer a breath of fresh air in their latest single “E.N.E.R.GY”. Combining a multitude of influences from R&B through to Soul, Funk, Groove, and pop sees an “E.N.E.R.G.Y” that only DEE & D'Z can offer.
A classic sound oozes out of this feel-good, theatrical performance with brass instrumentation carrying the sass and guitar strings plucking out a groove. We find ourselves carried through to the powerful vocal performance, where this song has something for the old-school soul lovers out there.
An old-school Motown Records vibe oozes out of all corners combined with the uncanny resemblance of a soundtrack from the film “Undercover Brother”, this classic sound is one which will undoubtedly turn heads at first play.
It’s refreshing to hear a song that just exists in and of itself. A piece that carries itself through carefree existence.
