INTERVIEW

When was your album released?

My second album “What The Hell Is This” Was released on February 4th 2022. It’s available on all streaming platforms everywhere.

Where are you based?

Philadelphia, PA

When did you realise that you were an artist?

When I was in 4th grade, I wrote a poem that my teacher made me recite it infront of all the classes in our grade. Then in 6th grade i made a beat that my friend made a vocabulary word rap to. Our teacher made us perform the rap in from of all the different classes in our grade (just us 2, different teacher, different school) and called many parents in to see the performance.

When creating your music who are your biggest artistic influences?

Really just what ive seen and heard through out life. I’m like a sponge. I do feel like kanye when i’m in the booth. (I guess i sometimes feel like him in life to)

When is your favorite time of day to create?

The mornings. Honestly i like to write or record before 11am

What motivates you to create?

The idea i cant get out of my head. Or the bar i crafted in my head that made me laugh out loud.

How do you define success as an artist?

Record sales/streams. I look at them as one in the same. I look at my artistry as a business a lot of times.

Does art help you in other areas of your life?

Yes. I’ve pretty much devoted my life to music. I own a studio in Philadelphia called Paradise Recording Studios. I’m a studio rat. I also used to be a full time Theatrical Technical director so for 10 years I've spent my life learning the full backend of Lighting design and audio design from a live standpoint.

How do you develop your artistic skills?

By continuing to create. Also by helping other artists develop there sounds and looks. I’m quietly behind some of the work of many of Philadelphia's well known artists.

What are your ultimate career goals? To grow businesses. I know my music is it. It may just sound like jokes and riddles, but I’m serious. I plan on making it. A friend of mine told me I’m phillies Wyclef and Kanye. I plan on being greater.

How do you collaborate with other artists?

I tell them to pull up. Or hit the send button.

haha, I like that! What are your future plans?

Check out Paradise.Mobile: A 24/7 Streaming Platform. It’s the MTV Jams of Philadelphia presented by me, Tony Loud Woodz! It’s live and available all day on youtube. Just type Paradise.Mobile into you search bar! Or find the link on my linktr.ee I will be releasing a project soon tentatively titled “Laugh Out Loud” I’m thinking mid summer. As soon as you hear the next singles of mine start dropping, I plan on letting it fly. I’m also my own videographer so I have a few more visuals coming soon. Be on the lookout, and while you’re waiting be sure to check out my visuals for “State Pharm” and “Paradise”

Sounds like you do a lot! So, what can we look forward to for the rest of 2022?

I’m also Executive Producer of a few projects. My favorite one is my brother “Blake Winters” upcoming album. I’ll let him spill those details out, but be on the lookout. It may be one of the best R&B albums to come out of philly in decades.
