KBK STARBOI CELEBRATES HIS LATEST RELEASE 'BODY ON YOUR BODY' FT MBAKARA

Kelly Isichei Dolapo Okonkwo professionally known as KBK Starboi started his music career in 2011. Celebrating his Nigerian roots clearly in his works his musical influences include the likes of Burna Boy, Chris Brown and Tems showcasing his love for smooth and heavy beats.

On 24h July 2021 KBK released his second EP 'The Odyssey (Son Of A Legend)' in tribute to his late father where he teamed up with a number of artists and producers including Zazi Man, Sentini, Sout, Xoondabeat, Jay Magic, Hookz and Ayflex. This 9 track EP ends with a bonus track titled Always Remember You, a beautiful message to his father.

KBK has been working hard over the years giving us endless vibes. Other projects include Wicked whine, Frass Boss ft KBK Starboi - Lowkey and Queen Of The Dancefloor.

On 18th March, KBK Starboi released a collaboration with producer xondabeat and singer Mbakara titled 'Body On Your Body' which instantly captures the ultimate afrobeats summer vibe. We've had in on repeat and learnt all the words already!

When asked his definition of success he told us that he sees success as becoming a giant, great artist from Africa and we definitely feel that he deserves to be! His ultimate goals are to be a Grammy Awards Winning musician and to touch people with his songs as well as becoming GREAT in doing so with wealth and fame. KBK has a lot planned for the rest of 2022 including new singles and an album Titled Fearless (you may hear a few lines from our CEO but shh it's a secret)

In The Morning Time Starting From Around 10am Then Till 2pm

It can be quite refreshing to make music in the early part of the day. What motivates you to create?

How do you define success as an artist?

An Upcoming Giant Great Artist From Africa

Does art help you in other areas of your life?

Yes Cause Whenever/Am Recording It Makes Me The Happiest Man On Earth & Especially When Tell Me How My Music Have Helped Them in So Many Ways
