Ardmore-based Country/Rock artist Jonathan Ashley White released a song which will capture the attention of all who listen to it. ‘Hurricane’ has swept into our ones2watch today, for its tightly knitted storytelling and Country inspired instrumentation.
The song talks of a transitional time, being in limbo and having no inclination as to what is to come. The song is one of heartbreak but also owns healing qualities that allow the listener to take in everything that it has to offer.
The mix between acoustic twangs and electric slides makes this song stand out along with the heavier rock influences within the hook of the track. This is a super catchy song. The vocals are a mix between pop rock and country music. I’ve not heard this mix of influence before and think that it works really well as a track that any listener will enjoy.
