King Cujo hold within themselves a rock power that has been gestating for years. Unleashing it upon the world is apocalyptic, but oh-so hypnotic. Their latest single, ‘Making No Sound,’ is a rich and diverse post-rock/alternative rock track that lunges at the melody and brings it back still beating. It's rock in its rawest form. The drums spark the track, igniting the passionate flames, round and tonal, they have a melody all their own. The instrumental hits, bass that rattles and fills the room, guitars that cut the highs to shreds and dwell deep in the mids, weaving masterful riffs and chords in the gloom. The vocals slide in and the game’s over, King Cujo have won. They’re clean when they need to be and harsh when they don’t, holding so much emotion even on the in-breath, it's astounding, and utterly enthralling when the sound is heard as a whole.

‘Making No Sound’ marks a triumphant return for these musicians. All we can do is hope for evermore alabaster rock.
