Melbourne-based #FleetingPersuasion has collaborated with vocalist #DanielleLoughnan to create #Hollow. This release incorporates dark pop and indie rock into a track that contains moving harmonies, catchy lyrics, and shoegaze vibes. This song makes use of the room within the piece perfectly, making sure that every angle has been filled. The effects are highly reverbed to create the shoegaze, dark feel. The lead guitar works well together with the key synths and the bassline stands out. The vocal layers are soulful - full of feeling. The vocals don't overpower the piece, there's an effective balance between vocal harmonies and space for the instruments to hold their own in between. This is a great track.
