Los Angeles-based rap artist #GALLOWAYYYS impressed me this week with his latest single #OllieOffAMxlly. The versatility within this piece mixes lo-fi pop with elements of hip-hop and emo rap. The rap style switches several times throughout this track which I love! The track offers a feel of Lil Nas X, Future, and even more classical emo rock vocals in terms of the overall vocal execution. The production elements merge the softness of lo-fi R&B with hip hop and rock. This works really well! I haven't heard a rap as free floating between genres as #GALLOWAYYYS before now and I'm super excited to hear more from this artist!
