SkyCall, the dynamic psychedelic rock band from Colmar, France, has unveiled their latest single, "Wendy." This track is a masterful blend of classic rock influences, showcasing SkyCall's commitment to delivering timeless retro guitar rock soundscapes. Composed and produced by Fabrice Duval, the song is a testament to the band’s ability to fuse heartfelt storytelling with compelling melodies.

SkyCall was formed in 2019 by former Tax Free members Fabrice Duval and Luc Erwin, along with Didier Hoffmann. Though the band split in 2023 to allow members to pursue personal projects, Duval continues to carry the torch, pushing forward with SkyCall's original vision. Currently, SkyCall's upcoming LP, which features nine tracks, is in the mastering phase at Sierra Studios in Athens, Greece, under the expert touch of Alexandros Chrysidis.

"Wendy," described as "a very good slice of vintage psychedelic rock" by Gaz Richards from Deal Radio CIC (UK), delves deep into themes of disillusionment and broken dreams. The lyrics narrate the poignant story of Wendy, a woman who escapes her harsh reality through artificial paradises but faces the stark truth when the effects fade. Recorded in a studio in Colmar, France, and produced by Fabrice Duval, "Wendy" showcases Duval's multifaceted talent as he performs vocals, guitars, drums, and bass on the track.
