Critically acclaimed Norwich-based indie rock pop band ‘THE MAGIC ES’ have recently released their 4-track EP entitled ‘Talk in Tongues’. Focussing on the song ‘Little Mistakes’ it appears to be that there is in fact little mistake in thinking that this band is worth their salt.

Since forming in 2015, The Magic Es have released 2 critically acclaimed albums, 2 EPs and 6 Singles all off the back of good old hard graft. Known for their tantalising pop, rock hooks and melodic sensibilities, The Magic Es have kicked up quite the storm amongst supporters.

‘Little Mistake’ goes straight in for the kill with its immediate gritty blues lead guitar opening. The bassline makes its way in between the layers of the track to fill spaces with some seriously cool riffs. The contrast between the verses and the hook are clear – there’s a clear division between the feel of the arrangement without causing the song to fall apart.

Seamless transitions, multiple guitar arrangements and some catchy lines. I think this is one for fans of melodic guitar more than anything! - because this shit is seriously something.
