About "Not a Big Deal"

Following the success of their debut EP "Small Talk," The Optimists wanted to explore a heavier sound while staying true to their original style. Frontman Matt Read explains, “Lyrics followed shortly after a rough December that left a bitter taste towards someone. ‘Not a Big Deal’ is about having a carefree attitude, without the consequence of others.”
