WD-HAN’s ‘Good Man’ is a powerful indie rock track that punches a hole in the clouds and rises up through it. The song starts big but smooth. Acoustic guitar strums with passion as the vocal sings alongside it. The duo work like magic. The guitar conveys so much movement, so much beat. The vocals layer melody and harmony, working with the guitar to get you to the chorus where the rest of the world joins in. Drums, bass, electric drones. All of the lights shine on that vocal as it explodes with passion. The melody hooks you in closer, you are in the thick of it. A fearsome track that will never back down.
‘Good Man’ has one of my favourite things, a massive ending. The bridge builds you up, but you feel like it couldn't possibly get any bigger than this? Surely? Oh, how we were wrong. The final punch is galactic, tonal, and showcases the full frontal power of WD-HAN. A perfect indie track if ever I heard one.
