EDM is a genre that aims to get you moving. It's in the name. Dance Music. So when an EDM-inspired track gets that just right and you can’t help but move along to the beat, that’s when you know you’ve got a keeper on your hands. Well, one such keeper has emerged from producer Will Lisil in the form of the upbeat and funky, ‘Lula Ladrão.’ The song comes at you with powdered colours, throwing them at walls and ceilings, covering the room with a fine dust of pastels. The vocal is proud and loud, walking through the rainbow dust with confident strides while a backing full of world percussion and massive horns roar in the back. It's impossible not to move to the infectious beat, pouring in and filling the room with rattling bass.
Will Lisil is making great sounds in his genre. EDM is a worthy home for such a talent, and I am sure there are plenty more fantastic beats to come.
