XPQ-21 – does the name sound familiar to you? 90s ravers, do you remember Jeyênne? Mastermind, producer and singer of the techno soundscape? Well, touring with the Prodigy and Moby along with TV appearances on MTV and VIVA TV are amongst some of the highlights to date for Jeyênne.
XPQ-21 combines the genius of Jeyênne and Andy Haywire in the newly released title ‘Temptation’. Marking the second single from XPQ-21’s upcoming album, ‘Temptation’, brings a distinctive array of sound from punk, techno, industrial and more to leave listeners exploring its sound in depth.
Deep bass notes offer a progressive feel in the opening moments, luring listeners into a dark tunnel of cinematics. The vocals are grungy, punk based mixed with industrial distortion and catchy drum programming.
The lyrics address the constant temptation within us all (humans). A portal to self and external reflection is present within the realm of ‘Temptation’. The drops are sublime!
