NUMBER 1

JOE MURPHY - Prosperity

Joe Murphy is a Progressive R&B guitarist and producer from Hampshire, UK. I was really impressed with his single #Prosperity and so it was a must this week! The track impressed me with its opening piano piece and it wasn't long until the funky bass got me fully involved with the feel of the piece. As the piece develops you will not be able to help move to the beat due to the hip-hop drums and relaxing R&B guitar riffs. It was really refreshing to sit back and enjoy a laid-back instrumental and I know that you lot will love it too! This is definitely my Number 1 this week.


NUMBER 2

RUEDIGER TIETZ - Hyperflight

Hanover, Germany

German artist #RUEDIGERTIETZ has brought something different to our Sunday Slowdown this week in the form of a catchy synthwave EDM piece. #Hyperflight is one of those tracks that would equally fit into a rave or your Sunday relaxation times. It's extremely bubbly and upbeat but it's also quite hypnotic in how the synths are used within the track. There's a clear mix of the super fast and the super dreamy here - It definitely lives up to its name. NUMBER 3

PAUL VINSON - Keep Up

#PAULVINSON adds a little sprinkle of folk and soft rock into our Sunday this week through his latest release entitled #KeepUp. This track was produced by #BryceDubray of the indie outfit Future Crib and mixed by #BobbyKnepper of Dreamer Boy. Together, these 3 stars have cooked up a dream. #KeepUp has a road trip vibe, the guitar strums are raw in the opening and allow for the soulful vocals to shine through! The vocal tone is amazing, the layers work wonders and the overall track knows exactly how to lift your mood and relax you at the same time. There are folk twangs added to the piece that adds to the atmospherics of the piece. This is a great song!



NUMBER 4

CHRISTOPHE LORIENT - Notre Jardin Secret

Brussels, Belgium

Belgian artist #ChristopheLorient impressed me this week with his single #NotreJardinSecret. This track was arranged alongside #EricAbraham. The song itself offers nothing less than a dream! There is beauty to be found in every nook and cranny of the piece from the smooth strings to the piercing piano the velvety vocals sell you this artist's dream perfectly. There are many perfectly crafted elements within this piece that provide something for everyone. From the cinematic strings to the sounds of nature, I really enjoyed listening to this piece, I think you will too! So, get clicking that link and give it a spin this Sunday.
