SEIICHI - 143

If slow acoustics are your thing - this is the track for you! #SEIICHI. #143 is the second single from his debut EP "Felix Culpa." This track reminds me of some of the works of Shawn Mendez both in vocal and production style. I could listen to this song all day long. The guitar elements are dreamy and mixed to perfection along with the subtle drums. I'm very much looking forward to hearing the debut EP from #SEIICHI. Hands down Number 1 this week!


 

NUMBER 2

KATHERINE NORA - Bloom

London, United Kingdom

#Bloom is a beautiful track by London-based artist #KathrineNora. This track implements the signature sound of the artist through her folk-pop roots to create a gorgeous acoustic piece that you can and should relax to this Sunday! The track is perfectly mixed - from the acoustic guitar to the percussion this track offers a bed for the vocals to rest on. #KathrineNora has a gorgeous tone and vocal ability that is showcased perfectly within this track! The lyrics are something to write home about too! I'll definitely be keeping an ear and an eye out for #KathrineNora from now on!

BETAGEIST - Outlier One

#BETAGEIST comes in strong this week with #OutlierOne. This slow-burning track is full of choppy chimes and subtle electric guitar teasers. I love the way that the piece offers small snippets in its build-up. As the track develops you will hear the cinematic bass elements slowly add to the construction of its sound to create something atmospheric. As the piece continues to build there's a South Asian/Arabian twang to the melodies that are later replaced by deep and classical piano. Deep techno also makes its way into this production in the airiest and most effortless way. The story being told here is immensely captivating. I really enjoyed listening to this one!

CHAVVY - Rose Garden

The latest single from #CHAVVY entitled #RoseGarden implements elements of experimental hip-hop to create a lo-fi sound that is the perfect match for getting lost this Sunday. Although it is absent of words, #RoseGarden has a hypnotic feel within its structure through the repetitiveness of the hip-hop drum loops and synth melody. The addition of jazz-inspired keys adds a sprinkle of something fresh along with angelic choir vocal chops. The mixing techniques lure you in and fade out to bring you into the most relaxing state. #CHAVVY is definitely one to look out for!
